Rather than asking ‘why is this happening?’, ask ‘what’s great about this?’. Every problem creates an opportunity, and a smart business never wastes an opportunity.

In the last couple of months, you will more than likely have noticed changes within the salon. Have your regulars returned? Do your customers want the same treatments? Has salon life changed?

It’s time to seek feedback and ask your clients what they want! Look at your offerings and ask yourself if you are changing with the times? The effect of the last year has ultimately seen previously loyal customers steering clear from close contact services. So find out what it is that these people want and need.

Ask ‘what do you want and how can we give it to you?’ It seems bizarre but the 2021 salon customer is very different from the typical salon customer we used to know.

We’ve noticed an increase in the demand for holistic products. The focus has shifted from ‘looking good’ to ‘feeling good’.
