Outback Gold Peelable Wax is a professional-grade wax developed in consultation with salon experts to deliver a premium hair removal experience. Tough on even the most stubborn hair yet gentle on the skin, this buttery, fragrance-free wax glistens beautifully in gold as it’s applied. Its advanced polymer “shrink-wrap” technology ensures efficient removal of all hair types—from coarse, rooted strands to fine, downy fuzz—without stickiness or residue.
Designed for versatility, Gold Peelable Wax can be used on large areas such as legs, back, and chest, as well as sensitive zones like the face, bikini line, and underarms. With a low melting point for client comfort and a quick 6–8 second drying time, it allows for faster treatments and better profitability in busy salons. Spread in thin, single layers and removed by hand, it eliminates the need for strips and uses up to 40% less product compared to traditional hot wax. Outback Gold is paraben-free, cruelty-free, and trusted by professionals for smooth, long-lasting results.
Directions For Use
- Outback Gold is recommended for tough hair and sensitive areas, such as the face, underarms, and bikini line. It is also suitable for larger areas, such as legs, back and chest which makes it a very versatile product.
- Place the beads in a suitable wax warmer and heat until melted around the edges (approximately 54°-58°C or no. 8-9 on an Outback heater). Outback Gold should stay fairly solid in the middle of the pot, depending on the configuration of the heater and will have the consistency of thick honey around the outside when at the correct temperature.
- Clean and prepare the skin using Gel Cleanser and a light spritz of Botanical Body Oil.
- Using a spatula, spread a thin layer of wax onto the area to be treated, following the direction of hair growth.
- Allow a short period to cool. Holding the skin taut, remove the dried wax in the opposite direction to hair growth.
- After waxing, clean the treated area with Gel Cleanser and finish with Bush Balm to soothe and hydrate.
- Caution: for professional use only. Over-heated wax can cause burns. Only heat the wax in a professional wax warmer and always test the temperature before full application to ensure it is not too hot. Do not use on damaged or sensitised skin. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
- Gold works best at approximately 52° – 56°C and should have the consistency of a thick honey. Always work from the melted wax around the outer edges of your wax inner, leaving the centre of your wax solid. Stirring the unmelted beads into the wax can alter the consistency. Please note: this wax is not suitable for vegan clients.
- For best results, we recommend that you use the Outback Organics pre-and post-depilation products as they do not contain mineral oil or alcohol which can reduce the effectiveness of hair removal when you use wax.
