How To Create Branding and Make Personalised Products

Updated: 24 August 2023

Your Personal Brand Defines Who You Are

Although branding has always been crucial, it might now be more so than at any other time. Branding has a huge impact on how consumers view a company’s services and products; and brand trust is built on various factors. But when people see unique, professional-looking branding, not only is it easier to remember, it can often enhance trust in that company. With the right branding, you are able to show prospective customers that you are a reputable, strong company.

When creating branding, you’re provided with an opportunity to exert a certain degree of influence over how others view your business. People are likely to pay more attention to your company with good branding and are not likely to remember — or they might even be put off by — a company that fails to display any consistent branding for an extended period of time.

Even if a person only briefly notices your brand but hasn’t decided where to invest in yet — if it stands out in a favourable way, there’s a good chance they will recall it. If your branding is easy to recognise, customers will find it much easier to return to your company’s products or services. On the flip side of that, a re-brand is known to re-establish a company within the product sphere or even grab the attention of new audiences.

Branding a Product

You probably started to create your brand even before opening your salon. After all, you will have branding on your client brochures, cards, signage, and, obviously, the salon itself! Consequently, after doing all the work to create your salon’s style and brand, you want to make sure you use it — and where better but on products that clients take home.

Branding a product is a perfect opportunity to retail your products with your business name and logo. Not only will it elevate your salon, but your clients will love the professional yet personal touch. And your salon products could also get seen by new potential clients at peoples’ houses, either out and about or on social media. Friends’ recommendations go a long way when it comes to wellness and self-care products, so if your salon name is on a product, this is also a promotion for your services.

Plus, huge companies use branded products to increase their client base, so why wouldn’t you? Just think of Nikki Clark, Toni & Guy, Sanctuary and Champneys; they all have products that promote the salons or clinics!

Benefits of Branding a Product

Not only are personalised products featuring your branding an ideal way to sell your products to customers, but branded products on display will instantly elevate the look of your salon.

Another benefit of personalised products is you can gift regular clients with miniature aftercare products such as aloe vera and witch hazel gels, providing them with extra value and a reason to talk about your salon and services — and they can take a little reminder of their experience home with them. This could encourage repeat business.

You can also provide personalised products in full size for clients to purchase and as part of essential home care kits such as our gel nail removal kits. This is a clever way to increase your revenues while building trust and increasing loyalty with your customers.

Branding for Personalised Products Made Simple

Any SalonServe liquid-based products, such as massage oils, after-wax lotions, face and body gels, organic skincare products, and hand sanitiser, can be personalised with your branding.

Whether you are working for yourself or own a salon or a nail bar, personalised products are a simple method of advertising your business while not requiring a significant financial commitment.

For a modest one-time fee of £35 per product type, we can add your branding — all we ask is that you buy a minimum of 25 of each item. Before you can sell branded cosmetic products in the UK, you are legally required to have already notified the UK Cosmetic Product Notification Portal— but don’t worry our one-time fee covers all artwork for your very own label as well as submitting your product details onto the UK cosmetics portal. so you don’t need to spend time doing this.

When you check out, just supply a high-resolution image of your logo, and we’ll take care of everything else for you. Your brand will be printed on our products, which will then be sent to your preferred location, ready to be distributed.
